I think the formula for becoming a hot stock includes recent posting so a sudden increase will land a thread on the list.

Scot:
Just received the Morgan report entitled "a $100 stock this cycle" that brought on the flurry of activity. Points include:
1. Possibly the best revenue and earnings power story this cycle.
2. Beginning the Golden Age of DUV lithography.
3. Key member of our ASP angle investment thesis.
4. With $4.00 or more earning power, $100 stock price possible.
Near term remains weak and visibility for an upturn is cloudy, the intermediate and long term revenue and earnings opportunity is substantial.
Market: Market expected to grow from 425 units to almost 1000 units by 2004/05.
Competition: Market share 85%. Lamda backed the wrong horse with SVGI. Gigaphoton has gained up to 40-50% in Japan.
ASP's: Expected to rise from 40-50%.
Spares/Service Revenue: Expected to increase greatly with more lasers in use.
Bottom Line: $4 earnings peak in this cycle conservatively, with possible of $6. $100 or more stock price seems reasonable.
"While this analysis might seem outlandish -it certainly did for us initially - upon deeper thought, we believe it is reasonable and suggests Cymer has the best earning power stories in the coming Golden Age of DUV."
