Does this say anything about yields/bins vs the Willamette? What do you think Jimbo? I'm a little worried about this. I figured Intel wouldn't offer a Northwood even near as low as 1.6 Ghz. Are yields not that good? Non sequitur. Speed and yields are unrelated (within reason). EP

You can't even see the obviuous ! Northwood yields are excellent - and every Northwood that Intel can substitute for a Willamette means LOWER COSTS and HIGHER MARGINS. You keep acting like the AMDroid wolf in Intel clothing. WHy did you never question the AthWiper XPloder yields - when they shipped 1.4 GHz - 2. 0 GHz XPloders? WHy Jim - aren't the situations IDENTICAL ? Well Jim - aren't they? Why don't you stick it up StEvIe's ass when he brings up 18 month old Intel problems? Why don't you go back to the Bab Ban Mani thread - where they want you ? In fact - just get lost - do the Intallabees a favour - and bless the Ban Ban Manidork thread with your undivided attention.
