I was reading the exchange between Cohen and Samberg in the Barron's Roundtable. Cohen commented that FASB and SEC have become more aggressive to clear the slate. Samberg replied, "As they should, so they can set the bar low and play the game all over again, ..." I don think the next leg down in the EPS correction is impossible with companies making $60 billion write offs. The only question is whether capital spending will return to the corporate sector.
