Actually, he said something just as dumb: So, not only did the tax cut fail to prevent a recession [duh! It wasn't even clear we WERE in recession when the bill was being debated.] it probably made the recession worse.[Name one economist how thinks the tax cuts in 2001 made the recession worse.
