Actually, stocks like YHOO, AMZN, and AMD are allowed to have astronomically high or even non-existent P/E ratios, but as soon as Intel gets about 40 or 50, people start screaming that it's overvalued - even in the face of one of the worst years ever for the tech industry.

I hope that a few more billion dollar quarters will convince even the critics that Intel's stock has room to grow along with the market.
