I should have read both posts before answering.

I think it's fair to insert "then" if you like. If we are going to talk about quantum mechanics, then I'm lost before we start. Frankly I don't buy a lot of theories that seem to be based on speculation, in that regard. If you want to rule out the use of cause and effect then all science will cease, including BTW the study of physics. Since the theory undermines the methods used to test it, scientists will just chase their tails around a tree until they and their white lab coats turn to cream.
