I suppose they are not honoring the act of raising the flag, but the rescuers, and therefore a lot more people than those three. As for shoving political correctness down ones throat, I guess the question is, with all one can fret about, how much fretting is this worth? My answer is, not much. Besides, in a way, the Three Wise Men were the first instance of political correctness in Western history. The Bible only says that the Magi came from the East, but tradition makes one white, one black, and one oriental.......
