Many dictatorships are communist. Communism is a more extreme form of socialism. Hitler and his ilk are not a more extreme form of Reagan or Newt Gingrich. This is a great point. The media would have us believe that Hitler and Gingrich sprouted from the same seed. They did....however, Hitler is an example of one that went off the deep end. And its not the media that perpetuates that belief, its political scientists and political philosophers....and they are right.
