IMO it looks like she had responsibility to write up the problems. Maybe she was in strategy / special projects.

If she was an officer with this knowledge she would have to have gone to the board. If not she has legal issues. If she did her career is toast there.

Not an easy choice.

What I like is this means Lay can't use the incompetent excuse. He knew the issues.
