HC:
The problem with this news release is that aside from the low volume cited in the initial order, it is non-specific as to the type of battery involved. If this Pogo order is indeed for the phosphate battery we may be correct in rejoicing. On the other hand if this is for earlier versions of the Valence battery than I would have to view this announcement as some kind of fallback position and more indicative of production difficulties on the phosphate battery. Make no mistake about it; Valence is hanging its' hat on the phosphate technology and as of this moment I have seen no confirmation, either by licensees or orders for goods, that the battery can be produced satisfactorily. By satisfactorily I mean in production quantity on an automated assembly line, with good energy and recharge characteristics and at margins that makes for viable profit. Before we longs can expect this stock to climb I would think that at the least we would have to have the answers to the above. Let's hope it shall be forthcoming.
