SEC working hard for investors again:

Pro Forma Poster Boy? The Donald
Commission charges Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts with issuing misleading statement in 1999. First pro forma case brought by SEC.

cfo.com

This is just too UFB for words. Enron goes down in an $60 billion flame and the SEC's "poster boy" for pro-forma accounting is Trump Casinos? A $40 million tired POS company that NOBODY is actually invested in? Harvey Pitt has access to millions of taxpayer dollars and the best he can do is bitch-slap irrelevant ex-moguls from the 1980s and 18-year-olds running Internet ponzi schemes? WTF?

Cheers

<<$9.1 billion pension shortfall seen by GM>>

Geez, don't any of these executives go to the movies anymore? Even the most casual Charlie Sheen fan can tell you, after watching Wall Street 57 times, that you should ALWAYS overfund the pension plan! That makes rich M&A types wanna put yer company in play!<G>

Blue Horsehoe LOVES Blue Star Airlines! (and that dood's NEVER wrong!<G>)

< $9.1 billion pension shortfall seen by GM>

UFB!! Ford, GM... and this was the business being touted as strong last quarter and into this year... why isn't the S&P trading 300 pts lower???? This is amazing... especially since all these jerks are using crazy numbers for their pension assumptions. Wasn't it the W. Buffet article that was talking about he average return assumption going from like 6% years ago to 10-12% now???
