As usual your grasp of financial matters is lacking. It would cost MSFT $666M after taxes on a billion dollar settlement. Unless you think they are in 56% tax bracket. The IRS might not allow the deduction though, since Extortion as an expense may not be deductible.

do you know if sunw's star office suite of software that is going to be released soon can be used on top of apples osx operating system.

the new apple imac is sweet and should very, very well. i think they need an ubitigious office application to penetrate the business segment in a serious way. any thoughts?
