You seem to be supporting the Founding Fathers who rationally were deists opposed to organized religion and yet saying REASON IS trouble. What are you trying to say?

Now which god are you talking about?

There is but one God. You shall have no others before him.

and rationally rejected all forms of organized religions.

A belief in God, in Jesus Christ as your saviour, does not mean anything relating to an organized religion. It means sharing the Word, believing in one true path to heaven and eternal life the Lord. I don't believe Jesus himself was that thrilled about "organized religion." The establishment surrounding belief is important for fellowship, but not for belief.

unlike most American men today who are programmed apes that vomit memorized rote and cannot think their way out of the proverbial paper bag.

I'm not sure what you mean here. You are not American? Or only American men are programmed apes? If you would take the time to read the old testament, and think it through, you would see things that are amazing. God provided the rules for Society which are still followed today. From cleanliness to crop rotation to reproduction to saving seed to replant. These rules were passed onto the Israelites from God himself. They weren't programmed, they were divinely guided to be sucessful.
