"the twisting and turning to avoid the truth is part of an unhealthy pattern that needs to be broken with a little honesty and integrity -- including the straight forward recognition that all of us can be and are wrong sometimes, and some of us have been very, very wrong indeed. "

GST,

In my opinion too this is exactly the problem. The lack of honesty starts at the top and touches everyone all the way down. I am not sure if the CEO is the "top" or the brokerage firm or finally the analyst. There is so much "untruth" that it is not healthy in my opinion. If the business world and the market have always been this way, I never noticed to this extend until the last three to four years.

There is no "sin" in being wrong. It is the lying I just cannot stand. I sound like I am preaching but the world is never going to be a peaceful place if human beings cannot trust one another.
