Jerome, I couldn't help responding to you post about Arthur Anderson. I think your post is typical of what many investors do wrong when they are considering what to invest in. I am not sure whether you are a bit naive or trying to scare people into selling.

I guess you are saying that A.A. is 100% dishonest and no other accounting firm is dishonest. Is that it? Are you saying that A.A. is guilty of improper audits for all corporations they've ever done work for? Do you also think that A.A. is any more guilty overall than other firms?

If you knew all the pristigious Fortune 500 firms that A.A. has done work for or is doing work for right now, and used your logic that they did some auditing work for Halliburton as an excuse to sell HAL, you would realize just how idiotic that suggestion is. You would have to sell your stock in some pretty large companies.

Hopefully people on SI are smart enough to see beyond your comments. I am certainly not suppporting A.A. but to think that they are 100% dishonest or other firms are less dishonest is ridiculous.

Your post and logic seems better suited for the Yahoo board than SI.
