and so has wireless...a commodity hot wired into people's brains providing just another way to ignore the world around us...the family, the traffic, birds, plants, surfing, friends... Ummm....who do you think people are talking to on their wireless phones? None of the rest of your post changes my fundamental point that your post (in which you indicated that the novelty of wireless was wearing off based on the actions of a friend), has no basis in fact. You are welcome to draw your own implications from the underlying trend in wireless usage....but the increased usage is not really a subject that can be debated. Slacker
