I don't know if there is sufficient interest with the public to affect change. Would think with loosing money two years in a row would cause public interest especially with fraud and abuse at the core of the problems. A larger portion of the public is invested in the market now and if the average person reads about these Enron people loosing all there 401k funds one would think it should get things going. Time will tell.

Why don't they just say assets minus liabilities equal equity?
