Careful Keith: CDMA is finally going to be realized on a global level. It is going to be hitting crtical mass in a few months.

Over promising is what has the WCDMA/GRPS folks in a world of hurt. Personally, after all the crap those folks have spit out (and continue to spit out) I hope they end up eating the money they paid for the WCDMA spectrum. Once CDMA is off and running, they will have to eat crow and build out CDMA networks. They will not be able to justify the spectrum costs and the increased infrastructure costs with the usage levels they are going to get. Sooner or later they will have to fully develop current spectrum, and they dont do that with GSM.

Just my pipe dream. I am under no illusions that the socialist bent of the mother ship Europe will be righted anytime soon.
