GV. The SEC allows insiders to sell stock and report it to the market two weeks later.

Illegal? Heck no.

Questionable. Heck yes.

Why should Dell continually give out information which is consistently misinterpreted and maligned? Our associate in Seattle used this information as just another reason for shorting Dell's stock. It didn't matter that Dell's model continued to produce results in a slowing market. It was more important that Dell changed its disclosures policy on a relatively minor item?
