What do you mean by this? Why is Apple's ease of use questionable?

Linux runs great on PPC machines. It isn't slow at all.

Oh, I see what you mean. The Mac running OS X being a slow Linux machine. But of course it isn't. It's a BSD machine with a great (if imperfect) graphical interface and a lot of support from major software vendors.
