Slacker,

14 million new CDMA subs in the 4th quarter alone

I can get to 5M new Q4 CDMA subs in the US, with a pencil. 1.5M for the Sprint network, something like 2M for the VZ network(net adds and analog conversion), and a loose 1.5M for the rest. Where another 9M come from, I can't fathom.

Slacker, I hate to be the one telling you this (not really <gg>) but the GSM Association CDMA figures track the numbers precented by CDMA DEV Group. Fot example, GSM ASSN shows 99.8 MM CDMA subs as of 7/1/2001 compared to CDMA DEV Group showing 96.3 MM as of 6/1/2001. htis represents a 1.0363 monthly growth factor, which, if anything, shows that the GSM ASSN's estimate for 7/1/2002 is a little high.
