the claim is that 14MM were added between 9/1/2001 and 1/1/2002 -- a period of 4 months. this would pro rate to 10.5 MM in a 3 month quarter. Does that help??

It would help....but the CDG numbers have always been posted quarterly (as far as I know). Did one of the press releases indicate that the numbers were being measured from September 1st?

That would be more than a little odd....
