Laydoff.com would like to be viewed as the working person's voice with regard to the ever-increasing corporate abuse of power at the hands of the hard-working corporate masses. Laydoff.com would like to be the forum to expose financial and cultural abuses of corporate power by providing apparel to express our distaste for apparent unethical and unwanted behavior. Laydoff.com's aim is to help quickly expose those workplaces that harm their employees and/or which contradict their stated corporate values. We plan to unite and continually remind those employees of their villainous employers. Laydoff.com has no malicious intentions. We strive to produce poignant slogans, which are intended to chide those abusers of their corporate powers. Hopefully, Laydoff.com's efforts will help improve our current work experiences and help to insure that our children's future career-building experiences are just, pleasant and fruitful.>> _______________________ enronX.org Web Site Launched Ex-Enron North America Employees Join Together in An Effort to Recover December 4, 2001 (Houston) Led by Jose Lazo, a former Analyst and 2 year veteran at Enron, a group of former Enron employees have decided to seek the assistance from friends in the community in building a resource web site (www.enronX.org) to help out all those who have suffered during this historic Enron tragedy. enronX.org has been launched to provide the needed tools and resources to help displaced individuals find new job positions, legal counsel, health insurance, or simply a place to voice their thoughts with other fellow co-workers. “I have spoken with numerous co-workers and I feel their pain, especially on the loss or their insurance coverage, benefits, and loss of compensation. I’m trying to bring a little happiness into this potentially un-happy holiday season. I feel the city of Houston needs to come together as a community to ensure that the domino effect will not be triggered because of this monstrous incident,” said Jose Lazo, spokesperson for enronX.org. “My friends and I at Enron, are desperately seeking new job opportunities and feel that it is our personal obligation to right the wrongs of a handful of individuals who have destroyed our careers.” A pink slip party has been planned for all ex-Enron employees. enronX.org has sought the help of Techxans, the largest Texas-based networking organization, to organize and host the event. Through EnronX.org, all Ex-Enron employees are receiving local, national & international exposure and support. News covering EnronX.org included NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, The Wall Street Journal, CBS Market Watch, Dow Jones, Associated Press, 104FM KRBE, LA's KIF #1 Talk Radio (live interview), News Radio 650AM(live interview), Forbes Magazine, Vanity Fair, CBS Nightline, NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw (to be aired), The Netherlands News and thirty other news agencies on the web and throughout the world. We have received calls supporting our efforts from people in Seattle, Omaha, Los Angeles, Kansas City, New York City, Atlanta, and yes, even Moscow.
