The murderer didn't stop on his own accord. Someone with a gun forced him to stop.

One little omission by the AP changes the entire context of the man's surrender. In the AP version of the story, only the bad guy was wielding a gun. In other accounts, both the bad guy and the hero were wielding guns. I don't see how you can't see a hidden agenda behind this omission, unless you believe that it was coincidental negligence.

And this is only one of many examples I can bring up showing how liberal the mainstream press is.
