I have several friends that started their own business in much the same way.
Bush too would rather small businesses revert back to a good-old-boy network than a well known option. Where do people start out who don't already have friends who own their own? If the SBA is not performing it's function it needs attention not further neglect.

J.B.C. A number of years ago, I looked into the possibility of a small business loan from the SBA, and found out that, if you could qualify under their guide lines at that time, your didn't need them. A bank was easier to work with.

You could go thru these governmental offices and cut 10% just by firing the people who have their thumbs up their rumps at the moment you walk in.

Government jobs are Demo pork.
