Skeeter: I eat about equal amounts of soy and fish/meat protein. I have heard of this research also as well as research on fat (which is also conducted on rats, etc.). I have not heard that soy is bad for you -- are you trying to scare me! :)

people who eat soy all day are suckers who just can't bring themselves to accept that getting protein from meat, poultry, fish, eggs, etc is perfectly healthy and ideal.

vegetarians are often guilty of this ignorance. they buy soy milk and soy ice cream and garbage like that because they think they are eating something that is healthier and more digestible because it doesn't come from animals. next time you go to the health food store take a look at the ingredients in soy milk and soy ice cream. often they are loaded with even more sugar than regular milk and ice cream. these are the same suckers who think they are healthier because they mash sugar-infested bananas in a blender instead of eating ice-cream.

while adm is hyping their 30% protein yields in their genetically modified crap you would be better off eating a farm-fresh range fed egg.
