>>a ridiculous point no less. always make sure you eat more protein than carbs is better advice.<<

you still can't name one professional, olympic or good amateur athlete that follows your ideal diet. hiint - it ain't ideal, your protestations notwithstanding.

>>ridiculous statement<<

out of context, math major.

>>everything in that paragraph you could say about the atkins diet as well. <<

except the arkins diet can't support the rigors of high level athletics and the zone does. any atkins followers won gold medals? why do you duck this issue over and over. i bet you don't even see it b/c of your paradigm paralysis - a terminal disease of certainty. ;-)

>>that's why copycats like the zone and carb-addicts have a slightly different twist to sell more books than atkins. the carb-addicts let you have a reward meal every night and you just confirmed that sears says you can have ANYTHING as long as you moderate the intake<<

more iod - ignorance on display.

>>what a crock. eating excess carbohydrates, especially starchy or refined carbohydrates is the surest way to spike your insulin levels<<

didn't say it wasn't. iod.

>>oh, so now it's ok to be in ketosis while you're sleeping! what happened to ketosis can KILL you???<<

iod. again. i didn't say ketosis will kill everyone. i said it was dangerous in certain circumstances - like to some folks with existing kidney problems. DOH!

>>you devour bananas all day huh? you are devouring about 6 or 7 teaspoons of sugar in each one. whatever works, right!<<

sugar is not bad. it breaks down into glucose - something your body requires to function at its peak level. sounds like you are unable to understand moderation is a good thing.

1. CAN'T NAME ANY ATHLETES THAT USE THIS MIRACLE ATKINS DIET? CAN'T NAME ANY ATHLETIC DEPARTMENTS AT MAJOR UNIVERSITIES THAT ENDORSE ATKINS? HMMMMM... B/C IT ISN'T AN OPTIMAL DIET FOR ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE. IN THE WORDS OF JACK - YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE T-R-U-T-H! ;-)

2. THE BIBLE SAYS PLANTS AND THE LIKE ARE GOOD FOR FOOD. YOU QUOTE THE BIBLE TO HATE ON OTHERS... WHY DON'T YOU QUOTE THOSE PASSAGES AND HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY THROWING THAT SCRIPTURE IN THE GARBAGE PILE OF PERSONAL VANITY?

HO HO HO! ;-)
