I doubt it. My theory is that they aren't starting enough production wafers because they need to dedicate a lot of fab capacity toward new process development like 0.13u and SOI.

Not thousands of wafers Ten. That's the number they'd have to be using to dispel the "poor yields" conclusion. AMD is always going to be doing process development. It never stops. If they're going to use half their production fab for process development then they're as good as dead already.
