Tenchusatsu,

<so you still think Sledgehammer will never be produced for the consumer?>

I still stand by my prediction.

The name means nothing. Is it your prediction that 2 core Hammer, or single core Hammer with multiple HT connections (necessary for 4 way) will not see the light of day?

My opinion is that odds of either one of these 2 processors materializing under .13u is about 50%. Odds are probably better on .09u.

Joe

PS: What's you opinion of the Intel version of x86-64? I guess the news of it's existence is a big blow to your team.

<font color=red>Intels version of hammer.

They began developing their own 64-bit extensions to the Pentium line, making sure the code was compatible with AMD's design. www0.mercurycenter.com

Looks like some of your buddies disagree with you.
