It's taken me forever, and I no doubt will keep tinkering with it, but I think I've finally got a system that works for me. I've got core holdings that I think are essentially market-neutral, maybe somewhat defensive, and then I trade around them with a few stocks that I believe have appreciation potential. The risk is that those trading stocks take off without me, but as I posted last night, I think this correction has at least one more leg down equal in length to the first. JMHO...
