thecow, thanks for your review of AVG! Even though I paid for a year's av updates from Norton, I must try AVG now.

thecow, I installed AVG and ran the first complete hd scan after updating av definitions. I like the AVG user interface.

I've been thinking of moving from McAfee to AVG. The one concern I have is the performance chart below. AVG doesn't seem to have done that well (though I can't even find McAfee in the list.) Any thoughts?
