" Not only that, but disrupting trade to the extent where it's civilians
are dying on a massive scale from lack of foodstuffs and medicines. "

Iraq can sell all the oil they want for food and medicines for the population. The above is way out of line.

this may be really bad news for the PA, for Israel and for the world.
no reasonable leader can tolerate this activity...a major military strike by Israel seems certain to me.

this world war is just getting started.

<< The USA is deviously applying the sanctions to disrupt the whole economy of Iraq. >>

and

<< Not only that, but disrupting trade to the extent where it's civilians are dying on a massive scale from lack of foodstuffs and medicines. >>

The content of these statements, from you, don't matter as much as the nature of your posts. It is interesting that you do not hesitate to "twist" events to criticize the civilized leaders of the world, ex: America, but seem adverse to criticize the real villains, such as Saddamn Hussein.

You are quick to leap on the "bash America" bandwagon.

Saddamn Hussein is a demented, criminally insane monster, who uses chemical weapons against his own people, starves his own people, murders his own people, all the while building MANY billion dollar palaces in his glory, and spending countless millions building weapons of mass destruction.

But, in your last note, you make it seem like the US is solely to blame for the problems in Iraq. Poor little Saddamn.

<< It's time to win friends, not make enemies imho. >>

Well...... you're not going to win American friends with your anti-American pro-Saddamn bias.

<< Some people (you included) on this thread are indignant that the Palestinian terrorists target civilians. >>

You make it seem like we are doing something wrong?!

Indignant? How about outraged!

How about you? Are you among the "some people"?

<< You have made one unholy noise to that effect, and that Israel does not openly target civilians. >>

Oh, I am sorry if I am offending thee with "unholy noise". Do you think that my "unholy noise" is better or worse than the noise of a bomb, filled with nails, that rips apart the human flesh of many civilians, as it did in Jerusalem yesterday?

You blame the US for all of Iraq's woes and you discount that Israel doesn't deliberately target innocent civilians, even as Israel's own citizens are being riped apart by Palestinian bombs. Curiously, at the same time, your silence at condemning ruthless dictators and terrorists is deafening.

Last I checked, the United States imported more oil from Iraq than Kuwait. I seem to recall, that the amount was about 60% of the imports from Saudi Arabia.

Is it a stretch to think that Iraq is witholding food and medical supplies from those they wish to punish for being "disloyal" after the Gulf War?
