Just against change LOL, Mike do you disgourge these idiotic definitions and pronouncements as some kind of inside joke where you see just how absurd you can get before people catch on to the punch line. Being against change is the root word of conservativism, conserve=keep safe and unaltered. Liberal has the root Liber (free) and denotes independent and not servile. Either you don't know your rear from a hole in the ground or your just cut and pasting from some unrelated conversation. TP

Michael, I am aware of the types of things you are warning me about. The first goal of socialism, is to remove all firearms from public hands so that when they(the socialists) begin to impose the rest of their radical plan, no one is in a position to oppose them. Next, they must gain control of all media in order to control what the masses hear as being news. From there, the agenda calls for taxing all of the national product into the public coffers, so that anyone that needs money, must come begging to them. In every socialistic, or communistic, regime, every thing has been controlled by a self-established elite that consider themselves to be the only ones capable of ruling all of the assets of the nation, and all of the assets of it's citizens. As a result, you have the equivalent of an oligarchy, where the ordinary citizens are little more than slaves to the elite that controls all facets of their lives. A title that really makes me see red, "It takes a village to raise a child." What a crock. What it takes to raise a child is a Mother and Father, that are responsible people. The "village" envisioned by the junior senator from New York, is actually the elite component of a socialistic society, which she considers herself to be a member.
