Every country officialdom would love to have it as good as the Brazilian governing elite. The system is very attractive for the guys in control.

Hence my assumption that a world where money will be thrown around to buy social peace and keep the economy's wheel oiled, there is a danger of Brazilianization.

What government body wouldn't like to perfect a permanent wool over the eyes of J6P, W3C as they do with Z6S.

Hey Jay, I thought you might be interested in my recent weekend trip to Atlantic City.

Went out with my best friend from college who is currently in graduate school. He blew $400 on the blackjack and craps tables.

Met up with about 5 law school students and they lost between $300-700 each. One of them was telling me about his buddy who had blew last semesters student loan money gambling.

Nobody seemed to care and all in all everybody had a good time though.

Thought you might be interested in this little story about Americana. Perhaps it has deeper meaning?

p.s. I was pressured into playing, and lost $50...my wife lost $50 on the nickel machines...I feel terrible about it. I guess I am the weirdo since I have a good job!
