Chris There is a Red Cross report on that site that criticizes the US for showing pictures of the detainees. Can't help thinking if there were no pictures of them they would complain that we are withholding something. It seems to boil down to an issue of whether we should be permitted to treat them as "detainees" or "illegal combatants" until we find evidence that indicates otherwise. The other side says we should just bite the bullet and call them POWs regardless of the evidence. Our intelligence and interrogation needs reflect the path we've chosen, hence it is a pragmatic and humane (to the future victims of terrorism) necessity.

I read some of the articles there. It seems like mindless anti-American propaganda. They don't even discuss how dangerous these prisoners are, the fact that some of them are getting medical treatment superior to what the average GI gets and how they are well fed and have access to Korans and are allowed to follow their religion. No mention of the prisoners having already attacked guards by biting them, and they harp on about dozens being executed when, in fact , NONE have been executed. A totally biased reoprt, IMHO.
