Declaring them POW's would be a great mistake. These are not soldiers, they are terrorists. If they are declared POW's, then as soon as the "war" is over, they must be released. This, in spite of their continued involvement in a conspiracy to kill civilians.

They should be fed, and well cared for, and interrogated humanely. However, in declaring terrorist war on civilians, they forfeit all rights of the Geneva convention, and could all be summarily executed. Their only hope is our civility.

I suggest that this is all an assault from the bleeding heart liberal press that, deep down, believes that we deserved the 9-11 attack. The intent is to try, in the most Leninistic way, to redefine the truth of this conflict, and make the terrorists yet one more victim group.
