Re: but you seem certain that israelis were behind the anthrax. how come there were only a few isolated targets?

the attackers could have spread it far and wide if they had wanted to. again why just a few isolated targets?

PLEASE, Andy... use your BRAINS for a change!!! Do I have to go thru all my previous posts on that anthrax thing??? You've read them all, so you're aware of all the circumstancial evidences I've brought to substantiate my theory.

As you put it yourself: only a handful of high-profile people were targeted: were there any Jew among them? An African-American? A notorious, staunch supporter of Israel? NO, no, and no! Quite the contrary: Senator Leahy was nailed a few years ago for criticizing Israel and for wrecking a US loan to Israel... Daschle is a subtler case: as the Democrat leader in the Senate, he got pressured by the Zionist lobby because of his "blind", patriotic support to GW Bush in the wake of 911.

Again, let me ask you why the anthrax blackmailer didn't target the following crowd: Senator Lieberman, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mayor Giuliani, turncoat Jeffords, a prominent American rabbi, the chairman of AIPAC, you name him/her! Wouldn't that bunch of liberals better fit the hateful mindset of far-right, anti-Semitic lunatics???

Then again, why did the anthrax terror stop all of a sudden?? If the anthrax terror really were the brainchild of some gang of far-right loonies then their motive would be obvious: to stir up even more panic, even more havoc in the US while all intelligence resources must focus on the 911 terrorist network... Yet, under that rationale, there's no reason to stop it! They should have shifted into fourth gear and drive your FBI mad!

Contrariwise, it makes perfect sense for the Israelis to stop their anthrax blackmail as soon as the White House gets off their backs and grants Sharon the leeway to push the Palestinians around...

Gus

Remember my pet theory about Judeofascist Eurasia (vs Laissezfaire Oceania), Russia's ideological Anschluss over Israel, Israel's drifting away from its long-standing American sugar daddy, (*) and the eventual geopolitical rearrangement in the Middle East??

Here's a clue...

Excerpt:

The long-term view does not end with the immigrant public in Israel. It crosses borders and continents and reaches Russia itself. It is highly important, [Netanyahu's spin-doctor] Briskin believes, to learn about the CIS, which many in Israel conceive of as a Third World country. This disparagement of the CIS, which has many interests in the Middle East, is not only a strategic problem; it is also perceived as an insult to the immigrants.

In all probability, Briskin is correct. The past decade has brought about a deep change in the attitude of the immigrants to their mother country. The days of hatred have passed. In a survey of the community at the end of this past year, President Putin was chosen as the second most important and influential international public figure in the world, behind George W. Bush. Given this state of affairs, Netanyahu is also a frequent guest of the Russian TV networks, which are also broadcast in Israel, a fact that empowers his status as an undeniably relevant political personage.

"It is important that he feel in Moscow the way he feels in New York," says Benny Briskin, who is planning a revolution in Netanyahu's identity. "It is important for the State of Israel, but you are correct in saying that it is also important in electoral terms. It comes back to us like a positive boomerang and scores points."
