Didn't Clinton also take illegal campaign contributions from the Chinese and then give them favorable treatment on some export matters in his first term?

Didn't he also personally make a phone call to the CEO of a major Hollywood studio about a million-dollar litigation dispute that one of his Hollywood friends/donors had with the studio?

Oh, don't get me started. This is the Enron thread. But the point is, there's a huge difference between being bought and paid for and being given money and then still acting with integrity. Which so far it appears the Bush folks did with respect to Enron's troubles.

As for the energy policy, I would expect Enron and the oil companies and lots of others to weigh in with their opinions. That is likely all that the documents show.
