When all of this first came out, Starr hoped to use it to break through the cover- up in the Whitewater matter ******************************************************************** Another disgrace in the pursuit of political opportunity. After the millions upon millions spent on the Whitewater matter what was proven of consequence?....tax evasion--that's about it. Was it ever made clear that the Clintons were thieves? No matter how many dry wells Starr came up with he trodded on spending more tax $$s until he finally landed on Wm. Clinton's soft spot--women. Then we wonder why there's a dearth of people of honor interested in public service.
