Actually, I don't know enough about the Kurds to make absolute comment. I simply point out the utter hypocrisy of American policy vis a vis the Kurds.

1. We support atrocities against them when conducted by Turkey, but condemn the same atrocities when conducted by Iraq. Massive hypocrisy!

2. We condemn atrocities against them when conducted by Iraq, but we supported (providing arms, including bio/chem weapons) atrocities against them when committed by Iraq before 1990. Massive hypocrisy!

Nice post. Half the job will be finding the right like US did for the Afgh. Quite a guy BTH. Too bad we never seen him around our screens in the last five years.
I have the strange feeling that the same has started in Palestine with a six eight months timeframe toward an agreement with the survivor of the struggle which is mainly sham { professionals dealing all their cards including bad ones} for both players at eighty per cent IMO.
