I think he's a complete piece of crap and the reason is he's an egomaniac who has hijacked an otherwise viable company and used it for his own personal campaign of hate.<<<<<<<<<< And you are running the same campaign here against Jerry. If you look back at history, it was Intel who convinced AMD to be the second source for Intel. And when Intel unilaterally broke their deal, and decided AMD was too much trouble and could be gotten rid off, Grove and the rest probably figured, business was business, Jerry's feelings would be hurt, but so what, he will get over it. And when Jerry didn't forget on schedule, then it was Jerry's fault for running a jihad, even though it was Intel who started the jihad. Things like that happen. A good one, is the jihad America went on after Japan bombed Pear Harbour. Japan was hoping for a short war, a war in which they could make some gains and sue for peace before things got ugly. If you were Japanese, with your attitude, you would be blaming America for carry the war on for yrs, after Japan wanted to stop it. And if we look at jihads, this one actually hasn't been going on that long. How long has the Jewish, Arab jihad been going on; or the IRA war; and there was once a hundred yr war? How long do you think it will take America to finish the jihad the fundamentalists have started against us? This war could be ongoing for the rest of our lives. In comparison, it only took AMd five or six yrs, to come out with the Athlon, and show Intel that sometimes you are better off working with someone rather than working against them. Now the guys at Intel are complaining about Jerry carrying on a jihad Intel started. Thats the problem with starting jihads. The side who has the most perserverance, the side that never quits; usually wins. Noyce and Grove retired, leaving Sanders to finish it. And while AMD hasn't won the war, they are starting to win some battles. Unfortunately for Intel; that is how America won the War of Independence, and how North Vietnam beat America. What goes around can indeed come around.
