"Intel, the flash memory market leader"

Intel is the market leader if you ignore FASL, although it's combined sales might have slipped behind Intel. Still it would be close.

Intel has done a good job of moving StrataFlash to 0.13 micron, and integrating an XScale with the flash was certainly an achievement. But that doesn't make Intel the undisputed leader in the market. AMD leads Intel in the automotive industry because environmental concerns. AMD also has a large part of the networking market because of it's better performance in speed and erase cycles. MirrorBit won't be on the market for another 2 quarters, but that should tackle StrataFlash's only advantages in cost per bit and density.

Of course, your definition likely varies, but what else is new?
