Ann, I think your post shows misunderstanding of the military and intelligence community as many others here do. Mr. Clinton in no way stopped the military and CIA and FBI from doing it's job, just as Mr. Bush did nothing to make it better prior to 9/11. I do know that Clinton had bin Laden as a target and attacked him once and kept subs capable of striking targets in Afghan until he left office in hopes of gettting bin Laden. Mr. bush early in his Presidency removed those forward presence forces and Bin Laden go about business.

So believe what you want about 9/11, but the fact remains that Mr. Bush was 15% through his term when it happened. I guess if he had been 90% though his term that would still have made Clinton to blame.

I am very amused by this thread's blind allegiance to conservative politics even when they are wrong headed or corrupt or even worse slanderous.

BTW, Clinton made a deal with Greenspan early on, on a method to shrink the deficit and create surpluses and cause economic growth. It is documented and it worked. Now we are going back to selling out the future and sabre rattling.
