You've stated the majority held opinion. Consider if you are wrong.

I'm not trying to recommend silver to you - do your of DD but, these are my thoughts

Doesn't your question assume there have been & will be no new uses of silver? Should we begin talking about the many new water filters & other bacterial killing uses? That around 2004-6 all electronics in the EU will contain Pb free solder & most of the tested alloys contain some amount of silver? There is silver some in the jacket of every .50 cal AP rounds which & the US is at war. Many of the room temp superconductive motors use silver. Lastly:

My only question is if they can phase out enough photo use of silver prior to the new demand blowing price to levels undreamed of by even most of the greatest silver bulls.

Silver is currently a commodity investment choice for some of the greatest minds of all time. Last I checked none of these people became fools: Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Soros.

I posted that very Silver Production message yesterday afternoon in another forum and got a reply today asking what my motive was and if I was on someone's payroll for posting this fact about silver supplies on the come as the result of the obvious improvement in various base metals' pricing power.

Some rabid silverbugs elevators just don't go all the way to the top. LOL

Stay with that thought and lets see which way it goes. You guys are forgetting that the crooks have been selling gold and silver that they dont have for at least 10 years.

Enron has blown it for the criminals.
