tejek, If a drunk driver kills someone do you blame the bottle or the driver? In the case of guns you're just so upset they do there job you can't seem to figure out that the one to blame is the person pulling the trigger. re: Why is it the NRA is against safeties on guns? All guns have safeties already. re: Why is it the NRA will fight any legislation that even hints at restrictions placed on gun owners? The owners you speak of rarely kill anyone. Or did the fact that even the English now seem to realize the "Criminal underworld seems to ignore those laws about handguns". re: Why does the NRA ignore the huge differences in the rates of gun violence in this country vs those of our peers, and instead tries to distort their numbers so they look nearly as bad as we do with all their gun control laws? You're ignoring this issue by focusing on law abiding citizens instead of the criminals that are using guns to kill people. re: Why does the NRA turn their collective back on all the gun deaths in this country? They are the premier gun safety educators in the entire world. Why do continue to ignore the fact it's criminals killing people not NRA members? re: And please don't cite the second amendment.....
