<what I meant is that psychology and mental illnesses and brain stuff - this is way OT, and I'd rather stay focussed.>

It's not even 6am and here I am on the damn puter! Oh well, a few minutes then back to bed.

This brain stuff is exactly on topic DJ. It's what makes the market. Brains have only a passing attachment to reality having been designed at a time when life was more chimpanzee-like than the height of evolutionary perfection, Los Angeles and Noo Yawk, the Big Apple and sidekick of the greatest nation created by the greatest biological entities existence has ever seen.

No wonder people get depressed. Then, they convince themselves that Nigga Rap, Hollywood, coke and Coke are cool. We should NOT be surprised if there are stock market manias and crunches as evolution works its exceedingly fine grinding process.

Uncle Al is injecting the system with more US$ when the AMA should be filling people with serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Anyone inventing the word 'reuptake' obviously is in need of some enkephalin and dynorphin.

dog.net.uk Incidentally, that list makes me wonder just how much our vaunted free will is really on the loose [which is not lose - those who can't spell need a dose of norepinephrine and epinephrine]. If a bit of missing serotonin [having been reuptaked] can throw people into a spin and off a bridge, it doesn't say much for free will as a going concern.

There is of course, no such thing as free will, which is why people who say "keep emotions out of investing" need their heads read. Emotions drive us all and we steer with our minds. No emotion = psychotic. They need a shot of glutamate and aspartate. If free will was all it's cracked up to be, we wouldn't be worried about serotonin absorption, dopamine action or those other things on the list. We could choose whether to be poofters, perverts or paedophiles. I am not saying that one p leads to another - just that sexual identity doesn't seem to me to be a choice one makes like a hobby or sport to play and I like alliteration. [In case some gender-confused person short of a dose of angiotensin II gets their dander up]. Hey, [as they say these days], I'm not homophobic, my best man was gay! Maybe those lacking free will need a boost of cholecystokinin.

If we can just get the right chemical balance in everyones' heads, we'll have the Dow at 100,000 in no time and we'll all be rich! We don't need money. We just need production. Money is such a hassle. It would be so much better to just get the stuff delivered after telling some robot what's wanted. As the US$ shrivels with the ever-rising supply of it, and more and more stuff can be produced for less and less of the shrinking $, we'll end up working for $1 million per hour and paying 1c for the latest and greatest CDMA gadgets.

So, no, this is definitely NOT off topic.

Meanwhile, I need some more melatonin [or I've got too much], though I'd swap some of that for green on the screen [instead of red where the sharemarket is right now].

ZZzzzz,
Mq

Hi DJ, I slept well, after placing orders for AAPTY, AU, AWK, CWT, IMPAY, and NEM. No toxic doses of any script. No particular theme or logic, except that none manufactures anything. Chugs, Jay
