Bill, re: Guns at home get stolen in breakins unless they are in vaults. Guns at home get used on wives, kids, moms, pops, neighbours. Gun os police and trained security people are rarely used this wa. So I can see not letting hand guns in private hands. Lot's of emotion with little fact. re: Do not allow handguns without exhaustive cross checks as well as valid reasons. Been there done that, I have a concealed carry permit, exhaustive checks, finger prints etc. I'm a bona fide good guy in the eyes of the State of Washington. re: No system satisfies all. True, accidents do happen, I don't trust gun safeties - I use a safe. All guns are loaded.
