That is what has the institutions scared. The companies like WCOM that hold massive amounts of "intagible assets" on their balance sheets (remember the days when those were minor parts of corporations statements?) will see those being written off. Wait and see, WCOM will suddenly lose $20-$30 billion of it's so-called assets with the stroke of an accountants pen.
