Well, maybe this is the reason:

"Analysts said the wireless sector may also be nervous about Sprint PCS' fourth-quarter earnings conference call later on Monday. Sprint PCS previously announced its fourth-quarter results, but analysts expect the company to lower its financial and subscriber targets for 2002. "

Pierre: I guess we finished up for the day! I saw the CNBC ticket go by and sure enough. $10.90

Been watching the open on this stock. Without fail. It opens with a 40 to 50 thousand share Market sell. Pushes the share price down 50 or 60 cents in the first few minutes. Sets up a day of lower priced accumulation from the panic crowd.

Today. We opened at $10.86 and in 3 trades and 32,000 shares later we were at $10.11. All 3 trades sold at Market!! I mean who sells that many shares that fast at the open when buy side share liquidity is usually lower than normal?

Someone selling a block of 5,000, 8,900, and 17,800 should have a little patience on the sell side! Not MARKET!

IMO.
