What we've got here is a failure to trust one of the most basic points of business, which is clear, clean, understandable numbers. Once this confidence is gone, and it seems to be going out the window in a rapid way, it will take a long time rebuild public trust in the stock market.

This loss of confidence in the reported balance sheet and income statement numbers by corporate America and their bought and paid for Accounting firms will hang over the market until the end of the second Qtr when some big year over year gains start showing up... In the meantime, the Nasdaq is on course to test the 1700 area...
